Gain a better understanding of water pollution by microplastics through practical workshops, laboratory visits and discussions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A meeting between the public, members of the ASL (Association pour la Sauvegarde du L\u00e9man) and Oceaneye associations, and scientists from the University of Geneva involved in water conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the programme for the evening:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carry out scientific experiments to identify the plastics in a sample of Lake Geneva. Visit a laboratory that analyses microplastics in the environment. Find out about alternative ways of helping to protect waterways, such as participatory science programmes. Talk to associations and scientists about this issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
