Phytoplankton, zooplankton, crustaceans, molluscs and other larvae form the basis of the food chain, which you can observe and identify using the equipment provided.

At the same time, the plastic pollution that threatens these species will be examined by analysing a sample of sand taken from Baby plage. From the macro to the micro, the focus will be on the fragmentation of plastics in the environment and the damage this can cause to aquatic organisms in Lake Geneva.

Finally, solutions to combat this pollution will be presented and discussed.

Practical information:

When : Sunday 4 February, from 11am to 6pm at Museum of Ethnography in Geneva (MEG)
Free event, open to all

Lors de cet atelier, nous vous proposons de découvrir les tout petits organismes vivant dans le Léman.
