From 16 September to 14 December 2025, come and discover the \"L\u00e9man, l'\u00e9veil d'un peuple\" exhibition at Espace L\u00e9man (Geneva).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ASL is celebrating its 45th anniversary with an immersive exhibition on a little-known chapter in the lake's history: its slow asphyxiation between the 1960s and 2000, before being (almost) saved thanks to the determined efforts of civil society.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcda Through a journey rich in documents, eyewitness accounts, objects and audiovisual archive extracts, the exhibition retraces the decisive action of associations, scientists, fishermen, journalists and institutions that helped turn the tide. At a time when the lake is facing new threats, the exhibition is also a reminder that everyone can play their part in bringing about change.<\/p>\n

Activities for everyone:<\/strong>
\n\ud83d\udc40 A fun tour of the exhibition for children with 6 missions to complete to save Lake Geneva
\n\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f Cycle of conferences with journalists, scientists and practitioners, including Eric Burnand (RTS), Amanda Melis (founder of Net'L\u00e9man), Robin Pittet and Adrien Bonny, ASL project managers.
\n\ud83d\udca1 Guided tours (every Wednesday at 6pm and Sunday at 2pm): anecdotes, behind the scenes and insights into citizens' struggles.
\n\ud83d\udd0e Workshops for families and schools: an interactive approach to discovering the history of the lake and understanding current water protection issues.<\/p>\n
