In the leap year of 2020, the lake will be lower, so we'll be able to collect more wood, so come one, come all!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this action, the use of a helicopter to carry away the nets, loaded with some 800 kg, helps to limit trampling of the shoreline. Some of the wood is recycled for heating or decoration by the public, who come and help themselves until 8 April. The rest is taken care of free of charge by SATOM. The heat released is used for district heating and to generate electricity for the regional incineration plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the ASL is taking part in the Grangettes clean-up as part of its major operation <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.asleman.org\/actions\/renouees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Stop knotweed<\/a>.
