Lake Geneva is no exception.<\/p>\n<p>The study conducted by Julien Boucher, commissioned by the ASL, and published at the end of 2018 in the journal \" <a href=\"http:\/\/asleman.org\/en\/bulletins\/110\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Lake Geneva region<\/a> \"shows that <a href=\"http:\/\/asleman.org\/en\/infographies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">50 tonnes of plastic<\/a> enter Lake Geneva every year.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Following these results, the ASL convened <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wjCiq_eNF3Q&amp;feature=youtu.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a workshop on 21 November 2019<\/a> scientists, infrastructure managers and government officials to examine the issue.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The ASL has chosen 4 themes for the expert groups to examine:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Plastic pollution via road water: tyre dust<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Water treatment<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Littering<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ecosystems<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>As a follow-up to these workshops, a summary report will be published and in 2021 will be the subject of<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>a public conference to present the results and inform the public about the current situation in our region<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne av\u00e9r\u00e9 au niveau mondial, la pollution des eaux par les plastiques constitue une des probl\u00e9matiques alarmantes \u00e0 traiter en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9fense de l\u2019environnement aquatique.
