Emotions and reflections on Lake Geneva
Caring for Lake Geneva, relentlessly and for the next 40 years... at least!
Forty years after the ASL was founded against a backdrop of chronic pollution and eutrophication of Lake Geneva (excess phosphates), a pandemic crisis caused by a virus has gripped the planet and shaken the Lake Geneva region. But let's make no mistake: the enemy is not the virus, but rather our behaviour and our societal models that show little respect for it! Aren't the emergence and explosive spread of this virus in fact the stinging symptoms of the fragility of our societies, which are all the sicker for mistreating the ecosystems on which they depend? And don't we depend on Lake Geneva?
