Online conference: What to do about the Quagga mussel? - Monday 10 March from 7pm to 8pm (replay available)

A replay of the conference is now available!

So small and yet present (almost) everywhere in Lake Geneva and elsewhere, the quagga mussel is an invasive species native to the Ponto Caspian region. Its colonisation dynamics are impressive, and its presence is causing major disruption to the aquatic ecosystem. Fortunately, the impacts on the lake are not only negative. Solutions exist to limit its proliferation and protect water bodies, but it's a matter of urgency!

To find out more about this seemingly harmless little mollusc, join us for our next webinar, which will be hosted by Bastiaan Ibelings, professor of microbial ecology, and Salomé Boudet, doctoral student at the University of Geneva.

See you on Monday 10 March from 7pm to 8pm (online)!
