You've clocked up 1.66 hours, 100 minutes or 6,000 seconds of information on Lake Geneva since 2019! You've been reading our "news in 60 seconds" section for 3 years now, and today we're publishing our 100th!
Initiated in 2019 by Coralie Pittard, then an ASL trainee, the aim of the project is to share information on all topics that have a direct or indirect impact on the lake.
The aim: to interest the public with an article format containing as much knowledge as possible in just one minute of reading on subjects such as biodiversity, history/geography, culture, physico-chemical aspects and a host of other exciting topics.
Today, we have a veritable library of articles covering a wide range of subjects: Eurasian water milfoil, common merganser, riverbank artificialisation and the influence of Lake Geneva on art - there's something for everyone.
You can consult them at any time on our website!
Raising awareness is one of ASL's central roles. Condensing a lot of information into such a small article is not an easy task, and sometimes proves a real challenge in order to obtain an impactful and sufficiently informative text. We strive to find and publish a variety of topics to satisfy your thirst for knowledge!
We look forward to continuing to produce articles that we encourage you to read, because a better understanding of Lake Geneva means better protection for it!
