From an Alpine pearl prized by poets to a lake suffocated by pollution in the 1970s, Lake Geneva almost sank. But in the face of suffocating waters, voices were raised: citizens, fishermen, journalists and committed scientists joined forces to alert, mobilise and restore an ecosystem in danger. This human, ecological and civic epic tells the story of how a determined civil society rose to the challenge.
