The City of Geneva is participating in the national «Give Life Back» campaign, led by the association «Biodiversity. Now!», which brings together over 80 organisations and cities committed to promoting nature in urban areas. The objective is simple: restore space for biodiversity everywhere in the city, whether on a balcony, a windowsill or in an internal courtyard.
In this context, the City is organising an event open to the public on 28 April at the Maison de l’Avenir (5:30 PM–8:30 PM) with stands from associations, an exhibition on urban biodiversity, planting activities, film screenings followed by discussions, and a friendly aperitif.
- 17:30 – 19:00: Friendly aperitif, association stands, container planting workshops, free seeds, reading corner.
- 19:00 – 20:30: Screening of short documentaries Geneva Great Outdoors, followed by discussions with local experts.
In the presence of the Association Sauvegarde du Léman, Faune Genève, Floradeau, Genève Cultive, Groupe Ornithologique du Bassin Genevois (GOBG), J’aime ma Planète, KARCH-GE, La Libellule, Parcours PAN (Projects Action Nature), Pro Natura Genève, WWF Genève, Agroecology Works!
