The association pour la sauvegarde du Léman is offering children the chance to discover the small animals that live in the Chamberonne and Lake Geneva. Using strainers and spoons, they can sample and observe these organisms using binocular magnifying glasses. This activity will help them understand the essential role played by these aquatic animals and plants in the ecosystem, as well as the threats they face, such as pollution, invasive alien species and the artificialization of riverbanks. It's also an opportunity to observe other inhabitants of Lake Geneva, such as fish and birds.
Please bring boots, comfortable shoes, a change of socks and a picnic.
