Water and its treasures - Passeport Vacances Lausanne in Saint-Sulpice

The Association pour la Sauvegarde du Léman, in collaboration with the Saint-Sulpice WWTP, is offering children the chance to discover water and the importance of preserving its quality. They will then be able to observe the small animals that inhabit Lake Geneva. Using a grappling hook, they can pick out these organisms and examine them with binocular magnifying glasses. This activity will help them understand the essential role played by aquatic animals and plants in the ecosystem, as well as the threats they face, other than pollution, such as invasive exotic species and the artificialization of riverbanks. It's also an opportunity to observe other inhabitants of Lake Geneva, such as fish and birds.
