On Sunday 29 September 2024, the ASL, the commune of Nernier and Géoparc du Chablais are organising a day devoted to Lake Geneva, with the central theme of "Memories of the future of Lake Geneva".

Programme :
  • 09h45 : Welcome and presentation of the 6th edition of Couleurs du Lac: "Memories of the future of Lake Geneva" ... when the past helps and inspires today's action for tomorrow.
  • 10h00 : Lecture "Lake Geneva: 800,000 years of history of a great lake" by Walter WildiProfessor of Geology at the University of Geneva.
  • 11h15 : Conference on "Memory of the core (...sedimentary)", by Jean Philippe Jennylimnologist and INRAE researcher.
  • 12h30 : Lunch - meeting with partners
  • 14h00 : Guided tour and commentary on the "Clean Rivers" exhibition by Jean-Marcel Doriozvice-president of the ASL.
  • 14h30 : Round table "Memory of the future: beyond maps and scientific data, what can be done? How can we take care of the Lake individually, collectively and administratively? Introduction by Jean-Marcel Dorioz (ASL) and the participation of Marie-Pierre Berthier (vice-president of the Geopark), Walter Wildi and Jean Philippe Jenny.
  • 15h30 : Conclusion of the 2024 edition
  • 15h45 : Free admission to the "Clean Rivers" exhibition
