Stop invasives" final symposium - An Interreg project in which the ASL is a partner

Stop aux invasives" is a cross-border project bringing together partners from French-speaking Switzerland and Haute-Savoie working to combat six (groups of) Invasive Alien Plants (IAS).

The aim of the project is to develop and implement an innovative 'deep' thermal eradication technique, to test current techniques and to pool feedback from managers in the area concerned.

The project's final conference "Stop invasive species will take place over a day devoted to presenting the results of the actions carried out since 2018 by the project partners.

Programme for the day

Morning session :

  • Plenary session 1 - Heat treatment: a new approach to combating invasive species
  • Plenary session 2 - Scientific monitoring: the evolution of sites following heat treatment

Afternoon session :

  • Plenary session 3 - The fight against invasive species: management strategies

The day will be based on feedback from partners and other invited local players.

It will end with a discussion with the participants.
