Microscopia“ exhibition - Plankton, from Lake Geneva to the ocean

Family workshops at the University of Geneva

As part of an exhibition dedicated to marine plankton and plankton in Lake Geneva, organised by the University of Geneva's Department of Earth Sciences, the ASL will be offering a series of events entitled "Discovering the invisible world of Lake Geneva" on Wednesday afternoons between
30 August to 18 October, 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm.

This activity includes a theoretical part on the different species that live in the lake and the interactions between them (food chain). The practical part includes a demonstration and observation of plankton, micro-organisms and aquatic plants in Lake Geneva using a microscope and binocular magnifying glass. For children aged 8-12 (and their parents).
