World Wetlands Day

This day, symbolizing the signing of the international treaty for the conservation of wetlands, is organized in Geneva every year in collaboration with the State and numerous actors active in environmental preservation. This year, several events will be held to celebrate this treaty. First of all, on Tuesday, February 2, an evening on the theme of the Lake Léman biodiversity will be organized at the Espace Léman, the nature center of the ASL.

On Sunday, February 7, many stands will be set up around the Maison de la Pêche in Eaux-Vives. In parallel, Espace Léman will open its doors between 2pm and 5pm with a treasure hunt and other participatory workshops allowing visitors to discover the biodiversity of Lake Léman while staying warm.
