Marshes: a natural partner for the quality of lake Geneva waters
As part of the 37e On the occasion of the European Heritage Day, Jean-Marcel Dorioz, vice-president of the ASL, will be giving a talk on the theme of "Marshes: a natural partner in the quality of the waters of Lake Geneva" (with the support of the CPIE Chablais Léman).
Between land and water, the marshes are characterised by exceptional biodiversity. Through their various functions, they are a natural partner in the quality of the waters of Lake Geneva.
The conference will take place on Friday 18 September at 6.30pm at the Ferme d'Antioche in Nernier. The venue will also be hosting an exhibition - "Léman sauvage", open daily from 10am to 7pm, featuring photos by Stéphane Corcelle accompanied by illustrations by Mathieu Binand and cut-outs by Hélène Corcelle - and another talk, "Les oiseaux d'eau", given by Stéphane Corcelle on Sunday 20 September at 11am.
