Net'Léman: 3.5 tonnes of litter collected

La 12th edition of Net'Lémanwhich took place on 25 and 26 May in 13 sectors around the lake, was a real success! The Association pour la Sauvegarde du Léman counted a total of 3,525 kg of rubbish collected by over 1,000 volunteers, including 300 freedivers.

The success of this year's event underlines once again the importance of civic involvement in protecting the environment. The amount of waste collected this year confirms the trend towards less waste by weight.
