On Thursday 24.9.26 from 19:45 to 20:45, we are starting the choir: Chants du Léman. For one hour at Espace Léman, the workshop leader, Circé Luginbühl (singer and singing teacher, sophrologist and secretary of ASL), is offering a monthly choir workshop to discover and sing songs related to Lake Geneva in a joyful and relaxing atmosphere.

On the agenda:

  • warm-up of the body and voice through movement and vocalisation,
  • guided circle songs to develop the ability to sing in multi-part harmony,
  • listening to and learning songs related to Lake Geneva to discover the musical beauty unique to the lake. First in unison, then adding a secondth and 3th voice, where appropriate.
  • basic vocal technique: fundamental principles: breathing and support, volume and posture, required to produce good quality sound while respecting one's sensations for a healthy voice that sings with pleasure and for a long time
  • finally, a performance connected to the text, the message, the rhythm and the music of the song

Prerequisites: none other than the desire to sing and a thirst for learning. No sheet music reading, learning by ear.

Open to all from the age of 16. It is possible to join this workshop at any time. You can come once, several times or every time to this workshop to prepare a repertoire and sing in November and December during two small, optional and completely unpretentious concerts.

Dates and times as follows: Thursdays 29.10 – 19.11 – 17.12.2026 – 6.45pm–7.45pm.

Email registration: à asl@asleman.org, or by text/WhatsApp if it's the same day: +41 79 441 46 75. Payment either in cash directly to the support worker on site upon arrival, or via Twint to the support worker's number. Looking forward to welcoming you. Sign up quickly!
