As part of the exhibition Living Lake Léman, the Hydromondes collective invites you to their lecture, which is part of the «Les Rendez-vous du paysage» lecture series organised by the HEPIA Landscape Architecture discipline and will be given by Clément Novaro and Marin Schaffner from the collective.
For two years, the Hydromondes collective has been working on a “bioregional diagnosis of Greater Geneva”, which proposes thinking of Lake Geneva as a living being. The confluence of the Rhône and the Arve is a key point in this research-creation. This Landscape Rendez-vous will take the Jonction as a starting point for thinking about bioregions.

At the crossroads of the arts, sciences and resistance movements, the Hydromondes collective conducts bioregional investigations into water (its uses, infrastructures and imaginaries) – always in connection with local areas and their inhabitants. We come from diverse backgrounds: architecture, theatre, hydrology, popular education, landscape design, biology, music, ethnography, engineering sciences... By pooling our expertise and visions, we create ecologically and socially just representations of our living environments.
