The climate is going crazy... but the lake is resisting!

Dear readers,

As you no doubt noticed last summer, Lake Geneva sometimes overflows its banks. There's also a risk - and all the more so on the day when the glaciers have left nothing but pebble fields behind them - that it will offer wider beaches... Great, you might say! But no! The spectre of repeated droughts on our land is looming, of a lake so hot that we'll be catching fish that are already cooked... Admittedly, we're exaggerating a little: they certainly won't be cooked, but they may simply no longer be there, and what about the other creatures, their food, and the grass beds, their shelter? To top it all off, a deserted lake!

Let's cherish the exceptional mastery of our region and the many services it provides, as suggested by the authors of the articles in our last issue. Lake Geneva region.

Enjoy your reading!
