Lake Geneva is currently in good shape, its clean water and natural beauty contributing to the high quality of life in the surrounding region. The lake provides the area with drinking water, as well as a wonderful environment for swimming and other water sports, in addition to traditional activities such as fishing, and of course tourism.
However, we need to continue to keep a close eye on the lake. We know that it is constantly under threat from potentially damaging pollutants including macro-waste, microplastics, dangerous chemicals, and micropollutants, as well as general deterioration due to loss of biodiversity, climate change, and the pressure of population growth across the region.
Help us to protect the waters of Lake Geneva. Your support will allow us to engage in long-term projects, acting now to ensure that future generations can also benefit from this unique heritage.
